CineDrive is free to download and plays your first three films with everything else working. One purchase, CineDrive Full at $4.99, removes that limit permanently. It is a one-time purchase and not a subscription: nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. Apple takes the payment and handles refunds.

The free app, and what the purchase changes
The app is free to download and use. In the free app, three films play: the first three you added, counting any you have hidden. Everything else works without paying, including CarPlay, automatic conversion, folders, posters and slideshows, so you can find out what your own car actually does before you decide.
Films beyond those three stay in your library with a lock on them. Nothing is deleted, nothing is removed from your folder, and the files remain yours.

- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The purchase is tied to your Apple Account, not to a CineDrive account, because there is no such thing. Reinstall the app or set up a new device and tap Restore Purchases in Settings to get it back.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What CineDrive is, and what it is not
CineDrive plays film files you already have on your own iPhone.
It is not:
- a streaming service, a store, or a way to obtain films. We supply no content of any kind;
- able to play copy-protected files from a subscription service;
- a downloader. It has no browser and fetches nothing from the internet.
You are responsible for the films you add and for having the right to play them. Adding a film to CineDrive does not give you any right in it that you did not already have.
Video on the car's screen
Picture on a car's display requires two things outside our control: the car must be parked, which is Apple's rule, and the car's manufacturer must have enabled CarPlay's video support. Apple introduced that capability in iOS 27 and each manufacturer decides when to ship it.
We do not promise that video will work in your car. Where it is unavailable the film plays as audio with Now Playing on the screen, which is the intended behaviour. Buy CineDrive Full for what the app does today rather than for a capability a manufacturer may add later.
Acceptable use
- Use CineDrive with films you own or are otherwise entitled to play.
- Do not watch video while driving. The app will not show it to a moving car, and you should not try to make it.
- Do not attempt to circumvent the purchase, reverse-engineer the app, or redistribute it.
Your films are your responsibility
Films you import are copied into CineDrive's storage on your iPhone and are deliberately excluded from your iCloud backup, because they are large and you can import them again. Deleting the app, or resetting the phone, removes them. Keep your original files somewhere safe. We hold no copy and cannot recover anything for you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CineDrive is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, including the loss of imported films.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for CineDrive, which for most people is the price of CineDrive Full.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top and note material changes in the app. A purchase you have already made is not taken away by a change to these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
